About the area
Blable Farm Barns
is ideally located for you to explore the surrounding areas of
North Cornwall, whether you are looking for villages, beaches,
walks or attractions there is something for everyone.
Padstow, the
picturesque harbour village famous for its seafood, May Day
'Obby 'Oss celebrations, National Lobster Hatchery and Rick Stein,
is approx 4 miles away. Whilst Wadebridge, a busy market town
is 3 miles away.
If walking or
cycling are your pleasures you could try the level 17 mile Camel
Trail, which was converted from a disused railway, and takes
you along the scenic Camel Estuary from Padstow to Wenfordbridge.
The Saints Way Footpath, which passes our Barns, starts at Padstow
and finishes in Fowey, following a coast to coast route taken
by the Celtic Saints that links many ancient religious sites.
There is also the South West Coast Path which will lead you to
Tintagel - the home of King Arthur, Boscastle and Port Issac.
Other places
to explore nearby are Polzeath and Newquay for surfing, the numerous
sandy beaches such as Daymer Bay, Rock, Harlyn and Trevone.
Or you could
jump in your car and visit the many attractions that Cornwall
offers, such as the amazing Eden Project or The Lost Gardens
of Heligan.
