camelestuaryIf walking or cycling are your pleasures you could try the level 17 mile Camel Trail, which was converted from a disused railway, and takes you along the scenic Camel Estuary from Padstow to Wadebridge (5miles) or to Wenfordbridge if you’re keen to explore further.

Saints WayThe Saints Way Footpath, which passes our Barns, starts at Padstow and finishes in Fowey, following a coast to coast route taken by the Celtic Saints that links many ancient religious sites.

rock to polzeathThe Rock to Polzeath footpath is arguably one of the most beautiful coastal walks in the country. Covering 2.9 miles, the walk starts at the end of Rock Road and takes around two hours and 30 minutes. From the car park in Rock take the SW coastal path over the dunes, or during low tide walk along the beach to Brea Hill, where you can see stunning views of Padstow, the famous Doom Bar, the quarry and St Enodoc Church where poet John Betjeman is buried.
